I’ve been trying to write this blog post for a long time. It had been a while since my last blog post and I was afraid what people would say as I for I think the 3rd time restarted my blogging journey. “Here she goes again, lets see how long it lasts….” etc, etc. I’m not going to offer any excuses and I’m not going to offer any promises. I’m just going to take this journey one step at a time and see where it takes me and the family.

Here is my “treasured” update:

I am currently running 2 small businesses – Little Owl Design and as an Independent Consultant for Thirty One Gifts. I have now added a 3rd business (I know I’m crazy) as an Independent Consultant for Arbonne. (on a side note, I’m currently looking to hire an intern so if you know of anyone). Each business is unique and allows me to help people in many different ways. I feel blessed that God has brought each opportunity to me.

There is no way I can handle everything without the support of Jim and the kids, who by the way are doing great. Back in July of last year I started making some changes in my health practices to lose some unwelcomed weight. Jim followed along and also started running again and as is the way it always works, lost a lot more weight then I did and has been able to keep it off much easier then I have. (this is the main reason I’m starting Arbonne).

The kids are amazing and I couldn’t be prouder of them. Jacob graduated high school and will be attending college in the Fall. He has chosen to save money by attending community college and living at home. I am so happy because it means I get him home for 2 more years. (I wasn’t ready to let go.) Alexa starts first grade which means school all day!!! Whoo Hoo!! I will miss my afternoons with her but I’m excited for the additional quiet time to work that I will now have. Alexa also launched her own YouTube channel a few months ago. I’ll share more about that later this week.

So that’s my update.

Until next time,

Karri
